Lettre de l'EOST

The Newsletter "La Lettre de l'EOST" École et Observatoire des Sciences de la Terre is an information bulletin on our activities within the Université de Strasbourg and the CNRS. It enables you to keep track of what's happening in the earth sciences in Strasbourg: research projects, life and development of teaching, activities of observation services, scientific events and events for the general public...

Our involvement in the Newsletter

The newsletter is published three times a year (October, February, and June).

ITI GeoT has been contributing content to several editions. Moreover, since October 2023, the ITI GeoT project manager has been actively involved as a member of the editorial team.

As a result, each edition since then has included one or two pieces of content related to ITI GeoT research and/or educational initiatives. Below are the relevant issues:

page 14: an article on our new EU project - Geotwins

page 14: an article on the mid-term evaluation and the recognition of ITI GeoT's excellence by an international jury

page 13: an article highlighting the launch of our ambitious new project, PEPR Subsoil PC9 "Rhine Graben"

page 16: a brief article detailing our Sismostammtisch events, which foster dialogue and collaboration between citizens and seismologists

page 7: an article featuring our Geothermal Field School initiative

page 20: a brief article presenting a video report on our Sismocitizen project, which encourages individuals to install a seismometer in their homes

page 6: an article highlighting the student field trip to Guadeloupe, supported by ITI GeoT

Every edition since December 2010
