Eost is organizing its Open Day 2025 on Saturday 1st of March, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the "Manufacture des Tabacs".

Throughout the day, discussions with the teaching teams and students from the various courses.

In parallel, all the courses will be presented:

You are looking for a training program around geosciences and the energy transition but still wonder which Master program to choose. Come meet the EOST teachers team at the next University Days (Journée Universitaire - JU) 2025 at Strasbourg.

The even will take place on the 30th and 31st of January at the Parc des Expositions of Strasbourg.

A group of teachers and Master coordinators will be present to answer your questions and give you more details about the program.

Hydrogen research at Unistra

Nous avons le plaisir de vous convier à la Journée Plénière de l’Hydrogène à l’Université de Strasbourg qui se tiendra le 17 juin 2024 à l’ECPM, campus de Cronenbourg.

Dans le contexte de la transition énergétique, l'Université de Strasbourg souhaite rendre visible la recherche scientifique menée par ses différentes équipes autour de l'hydrogène. Cette journée présentera les différentes thématiques développées au sein de l’Unistra sur les axes : production, stockage/transport, usages et transverse (analyse de cycle de vie, études socio-économiques, gestion de l’eau liée à l’H₂, etc.). A travers l’intervention de ses chercheuses, chercheurs et des invité.es d’organismes nationaux de recherche (ADEME, CNRS, etc.), l’Unistra effectuera l’état des lieux de ses travaux sur l’hydrogène, pour les rendre visibles et stimuler les futures collaborations entre partenaires académiques, industriels et institutionnels, aux échelles régionale, européenne (dont EUCOR - Le Campus européen) et international.

Nous attendons vos résumés pour des communications orales (15-20 min) et posters qui permettront de présenter, de manière accessible, les travaux de recherche de vos équipes à une audience pluridisciplinaire (Date limite de soumission le 22 mai 2024).

Public conference: Natural hydrogen and geothermal energy for the energy system transition

In the current context of energetic transition, geothermal energy offers a zero carbon solution. It can also provide a potential for the extraction of natural hydrogen, a decarbonized energy source and carrier. This presentation will present the research work on hydrogen conducted at ITI-GeoT in the geothermal context of the Rhine Graben.
